Power Poles are placed automatically on the corner of exterior (1x1, 2x2, and 3x3) plots. Due to issues in the game engine's handling of power settlement objects, these poles are not directly attached to plots and provide power radiantly (wirelessely) to nearby plots and other settlement objects that accept radiant power. You can use a plot's ASAM sensor to spawn a specific power pole.

Craftable power poles can also be crafted in workshop mode from the SS2 > Power Poles menu.
